Isaac Datikashvili, DMD
Growing up in New York City and Philadelphia, two of the top medical cities in the United States, it was no coincidence that Dr. Isaac Datikashvili would fall into the field of healthcare. With a desire to help others and a unique ability to perform well under pressure, Dr. Isaac, as he prefers to be called, knew he would inevitably enter the field of medicine. Prior to practicing, Dr. Isaac honed his hand skills working in his parents' jewelry business before attending college. As an undergraduate, Dr. Isaac began his career as Emergency Medical Technician. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for seeing
people smile.
While earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Temple University School of Dentistry,
Dr. Isaac was a member of the Oral Surgery Honor Society and received an award for General Clinical Excellence. After completing his DMD, Dr. Isaac completed an externship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Next, he received his implant training at New York University's Maxi-Course in Oral Implantology. Since then, Dr. Isaac has worked on some of the most complex dental cases with patients of all ages.
Today, his practice is all encompassing — ranging from complex surgical procedures and implants to smile changing porcelain veneer makeovers. Moreover, Dr. Isaac’s bedside manor and his meticulous attention to detail has earned him the fullest respect and continued loyalty by his patients. Dr. Isaac turned his lifelong passion for dentistry into a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week emergency dentistry practice located in Manhattan's Union Square.
Currently, Dr. Isaac is on Staff at New York University School of Dentistry. In his continuing education, he has completed a degree in Acupuncture Medicine for Pain Management as well as courses in Cardiac Life Support. Additionally, Dr. Isaac completed Montefiore Medical Center's Conscious Sedation Dentistry program and has a New York State
IV Sedation permit.
He and his staff continue their education process by attending courses to keep them informed and current. They continually master the latest technologies and techniques in sedation and dentistry. Dr. Isaac is also an active member in the community and was recently written up in Time Out New York as being one of the city's best 24-hour services in Manhattan.
